Here is Bugg and her backpack that I made for her. She was very pleased with it, also made a covered journal, and pencil keeper and a billfold that all matches. Had enough fabric remaining to make her mom a purse, she was pleased also.

I cut and sewed this all up in one day! It measures..40 x 49. Thought it was a good use for some of my orientals. guess I'll have to make another one or two since I have so many. Also good use for a large floral.

JO-IN Greens Quilt and b'day flowers

Just had to show off my neat birthday bouquets - this first one is from DS and his family - they live here in town. How about those perky polka dots? :) The second bouquet is from DS and family in Green Bay, WI The picture is so dark - but had to post it - the vase is a metallic gray and then the silver embossing makes it so classy - remember, I do like to be classy from time to time.

And last but not least - my Bricks and Stepping Stones using the strips from our greens swap. I didn't like it at first but the quilting sure brought it to life! It's folded in half, lengthwise.

The quilt is a miniature that I made to put in my office. The total size is 6.5”. I saw the quilt frame at my Bernina store and just fell in love with it. I hope to make several and swap them out from time to time.

Micky loves to play in the snow and this winter he got quite a bit of practice. We had more snow this year than since we moved here 10 years ago. This is him flying down the drive way.

This quilt is all Bible blocks from a book by Rosemary Makhan. It was done by our local quilt club, Bear Creek Quilters of Rogers, Arkansas. There were three extra blocks so we put them on the backing. I am in the process today of making the label. This was done for the church where we meet weekly to sew. They have an auction in August and the proceeds go for teen activities.
