JO-IN

Okay Gals - isn't my Dwarf Red Crepe Myrtle just lovely? And it's only been in the ground for a couple of months!

Finished up my Scotty Dogs 15 1/2" x 22" and the Log Cabin, 13 1/2" x 18".. These are Small Quilt Talks challenge quilts - a Yahoo Group.

Next is the big Log Cabin quilt - instead of a square center, I have rectangles - now don't ask me now that happened. But it's completed!

And this photo is the start of another multi-fabric quilt. Split 9 Patch is the name of the block!
I've done two of these before but gave them away!

Enjoy!

JO-IN

My week at the sewing machine: A small log cabin, blocks measure 4 1/2" finished. Not sure if I'm adding borders or not. This quilt is a challenge issue from Small Quilts Talk - a Yahoo Group I belong to.

The next photo is just one of many blocks to be made - redwork snowman designs, trees, etc. in the pattern. I'm doing a couple of wall hangings.

Lace ornaments: angels, stars, doves and ornaments - made 19 in two days! Really boring after the first few!

Also working on a Small Quilts challenge of Scotty Dogs - see my blog for that adventure. Picture posted later!

Frank and Margie's 50th Anniversary

Ok, here you go. One of Frank and I, one of our g/daughter Faith doing her flower girl thing...only 2 1/2 yrs old and did well. And the group picture is all of our relatives that were there. Also one of our son, Francis, walking me down the aisle behind the flower girl...sort of coaxing her along! This was our 50th anniversary

Kim Fat Quarter Shop

Kim had the babies, 7 lbs 15 oz and 5 lbs 11 oz. All are doing great, do not know the names yet.

Kim Fat Quarter Shop

Som of you know Kim and just wanted to pass on the good news.

At 1:21 PM today,2 Jolly boys joined the family. They weigh 7 lb 15 oz and 5 lb 11 oz, and both Mom Kimberly and babies are doing great. Dad was on hand to give them each the right names (he insisted they couldn't be named just on the order they arrived alone, and he's probably right), and now Emma is one proud big sister!
