Here are the "six" stockings for Christmas I made. They aren't very big (which will take me less time to fill **bonus**) but I'm happy with the way they turned out. I ended up using only coastal prints/fabrics because finding Coastal Christmas fabric didn't lend itself to enough variety to suit my fancy! LOL

Then the "Church lady apron" I did for my daughter in law. She wanted something that looked "old fashioned", I took that to mean "retro" and thus the apron. What a quick easy pattern and fun to make.

The two stars are 72" square, both are of the same collection of fabrics but different colors. These are for two nephews and their wives that traveled from Iowa and New Jersey for our anniversary. The fabrics are from Red Rooster.

The darker olive green quilt is called Double Delight. That was made with Moda fabrics about 5 years ago. Very large queen size. This was hanging for fall at the Bernina dealer in Rogers, AR.

The last one was done with Moda fabrics around 5 years ago. That pattern was called Holiday Stars. It is now hanging during the Christmas season at the Bernina dealer here.

JO-IN Winter-C'mas Wall Quilts

Candy Cane Cottage Wall Hanging - approximately 12 x 14" Border is red/cream check homespun - just have a few strips and squares of it left!

Ho Ho Ho measures about 12 x 18". It doesn't look straight, but it is!

Let It Snow measures about 18 x 24". Because of the different size blocks I had to lay it out on graph paper and go from there. Am happy with it, so well worth the extra time it took to put it together.

Enjoy!

This is a panel and kit I bought from Keepsake Quilters. The three above items netted $85 at the P.E.O. auction. I was pleased with the outcome. Renee

Margie - ARK

We had a blast with Faith. She was so excited to see us and her rocking chair, she kept running around the living room. She knows some of her letters and is learning to count too. Took her shopping on Saturday for some new clothes. One pic is her new purple outfit for church.

These are the quilts I took to the family. The labels have their pics on them.
The red/black is all musical. The other two are brights for Alex and Lily. And as you can see, Faith got cute bears. Note the toes sticking out from under the quilt pic, she and pawpaw. My son and dau-in-law got a king size Christmas one. All seemed very happy

I made this laptop bag out of a magazine pattern. It was really pretty simple and I love it. Going to make another on for my sister for her birthday.

The baby quilt is so cute, I love the prarie point top and bottom edge. This is for my Son't assistant who is having her baby (C-section) on Oct. 1st. I'm having a baby shower here at the house for her tomorrow with the rest of the gals from the office.

This is the Gracie bag I worked on the past few days - it was quick and easy and fun to make. The button on the front tab is an antique button!

And yet another Maple Leaves project! I pieced this a while ago and decided to finish it - used quite a few batiks in it. Three block sizes - 3",6" and 9". Saw something similar while surfing and loved it and had to try it, too!

Okay Gals - isn't my Dwarf Red Crepe Myrtle just lovely? And it's only been in the ground for a couple of months!

Finished up my Scotty Dogs 15 1/2" x 22" and the Log Cabin, 13 1/2" x 18".. These are Small Quilt Talks challenge quilts - a Yahoo Group.

Next is the big Log Cabin quilt - instead of a square center, I have rectangles - now don't ask me now that happened. But it's completed!

And this photo is the start of another multi-fabric quilt. Split 9 Patch is the name of the block!
I've done two of these before but gave them away!

Enjoy!

JO-IN

My week at the sewing machine: A small log cabin, blocks measure 4 1/2" finished. Not sure if I'm adding borders or not. This quilt is a challenge issue from Small Quilts Talk - a Yahoo Group I belong to.

The next photo is just one of many blocks to be made - redwork snowman designs, trees, etc. in the pattern. I'm doing a couple of wall hangings.

Lace ornaments: angels, stars, doves and ornaments - made 19 in two days! Really boring after the first few!

Also working on a Small Quilts challenge of Scotty Dogs - see my blog for that adventure. Picture posted later!

Cyd's Glam Bags!

These are the cute little Glam Bags we made yesterday. Lots of different options on the pattern to try.
